What’s the point of combining Tarot, Lenormand and Kipper

Astrologie und Kartenlegen

Tarot, Lenormand and Kipper combined.

I like to use my pyramid spread. The top card is a Tarot card. In tarot we can work with single cards. The symbolic language of these cards tells us a lot more with just one card. Because there are 78 cards, and these also have a different statement when they are reversed, that results in 156 different statements. This card forms the top level in my pyramid spread. Underneath the Lenormand cards come next.

Lenormand is not a symbolic language, we have simple motifs and clear keywords. A single card doesn’t say much, Lenormand spreads are generally laid out with 3, 5, 9 or 36 cards. Of course you can always use a different number of cards, but the minimum is 3. In a daily spread, for example, these 3 cards can tell us something about the mood, possibilities or difficulties of the day.

In the next row of my pyramid I lay out 4 Kipper cards. The Kipper cards describe the day. Kipper gives us situations and we read one card after the other.

In the picture you can see an example of how I lay a pyramid spread. This was a daily spread for a golf player on a competition day: “Great, a successful day. The game works, but not by itself. Give your everything, because you won’t do well in the tournament without some effort. However be careful: no silly experiments. Stick to what you are good at and have done a hundred times before. Hold back on high-spirited experiments, even if you feel restricted and really want to have a go at it. At the end of the day you will be very satisfied with your performance.

This is what an interpretation can look like. Straightforward and clear. The mix makes that possible.
